The history of AirSmart
The name says it all. How can we use our precious air in a smarter way? A question that grips the Airsmart team every day.
There is a lot to be said about ventilation, but at Airsmart we keep it simple: offering the best solution for the installer, HVAC company or project developer. In other words: unburdening customers is our biggest concern.
As founders of Airsmart, Gunter Frencken and Manu Nys form a very complementary team. Where Gunter brings knowledge, experience about product development to the table, Manu provides a network and knowledge within the HVAC market. Gunter has already completed many projects in the home ventilation sector. The complete development of EPB-certified ventilation units systems is also on his list of achievements. For the past 20 years, Manu has led Thermoduct, a manufacturer system provider of a wide range of surface heating and cooling systems. The search for new markets and innovative products has helped Thermoduct to rank among the leading companies in its industry. In September 2020, Thermoduct was acquired by The Magnum Heating Group.
